Jill is a bright beautiful young woman whose life in a small Florida town is made unbearable by her unhappy parents and mood swinging, steroid-using fiancé. She ditches it all and moves to South Beach and meets two "Gender Illusionists" - Mona and her partner Billie. Both of them are performers as well as operators of a Cabaret. They introduce her to the exciting world of super modeling, and she falls in love with the glamour, stardom, money, and all that goes with it. But trouble brews when Jill's boyfriend shows up, determined to take her back where she belongs.
